New
this year, there will also be free health checks, including
cholesterol, blood pressure, and glucose
checks and artery scans.
We need over 1000 volunteers to run this event, so come and join
in the fun. You don't need to be a vegetarian to volunteer! We need
volunteers from early Friday morning through till late Sunday evening, so you
can choose a shift (or more) which suits you. This is a great way to help
the community learn about healthy eating, and maybe to fulfill any community
service requirements you may have.
To show our appreciation, all volunteers
who help for 4 hours or more will receive:
· a free Vegfest 2012 T-shirt
· free admission to the event on Saturday or Sunday
· satisfaction in helping people experience vegetarian food and learn
