We implemented e-signatures in our sales organization in
September of last year. We started out slow and then added a bunch
of our portals to strictly e-signatures.
- Instead of the process being:
- Send the agreement
- Client prints and signs
- Client faxes to us
- We print and sign along with a printed out summary form
- We fax back to client (or in some cases sent hard copies)
- They print for their records
Total low-end estimated printed pages for one agreement =
19
The process is now:
- Send the agreement
- Client e-signs
- We e-signs
- Everyone is automatically sent a PDF
- Client may or may not print
Total high-end estimated printed pages for one agreement
= 12
Total low-end estimated printed pages for one agreement =
0
Here are some interesting numbers:
- Approximate agreements completed: 330
- Average number of pages: 6
- Low-end to high-end number of pages saved since September: 2,310 pieces of paper!
And we’re only going up from here!
