PlayNetwork to Start Composting!!

Hello PlayNetwork Gardeners!

We are pleased to announce the phase 1 launch of PlayGreen’s Composting program!!!

Over the past few months Erica Tawney has been hording the Pub Mix containers as our reusable resource for containing our compost, and the first item on the ticket???

COFFEE GROUNDS!!!

Each Friday, starting April 6^th we will have Pub Mix containers full ‘o’ coffee grounds for our employees to take home and use in their gardens as soil or compost.

Coffee grounds are a long time friend of the tomato and other acid loving plants. It adds a punch of nitrogen to your soil for some extra love.

Please email playgreen@playnetwork.com if you would like to take some home and we will add you to a rotating list.

How it works:

1.       You say you're interested by responding to this email, voting, or emailing Erica Tawney directly.

2.       We put you on a list.

3.       Each Thursday, PlayGreen will collect coffee grounds from all coffee stations in all buildings.

4.       Each Friday, you will need to swing by Erica’s desk (in building A) to pick up your grounds.

5.       On Monday, you’ll return the container your grounds came in. And then that Friday, you’ll be able to pick up some more!

6.       That’s it!

Your garden will thank you heaps! Don’t delay! Decay!
