People For Puget Sound and cosponsors invite you to the Lowtide Celebration, a family-friendly event for everyone to explore and enjoy the panorama of marine life that populates the Puget Sound shoreline.  Join us on the following fun learning activities:

  • Lowtide beachwalks with expert beach naturalists
  • Touching tidepool animals gently with best beach etiquette
  • Lighthouse tours
  • Native plant and bird walks
  • Childrens beach activities
  • Presentations by tribal biologist Dave Winfrey & cultural educators Odin Lonning & Ann Stateler

 

This family-friendly event is free.

Bring footwear for walking on the beach (sand, rocks, water) and clothing for a variety of weather conditions.
